Random Picture Friday!!

Its Friday again!

Every Friday I post random pictures that I have took. I love that I get to show you different things that makes my life complete.

This is my son calf roping at a rodeo. We are gearing up for Spring/Summer Youth rodeos in our area. I have to admit I like these series lots better. A couple reasons is: its warmer. Where as in the winter I have to sit with piles of blankets on me. Another reason its outside. We have been rodeoing all winter in a barn. It will feel so good to be at the rodeos out in the fresh air.

I love old doors!
This is another door that I found in our barn. This one isn't in as good of shape as the other one that I showed you earlier in the week. I know this door has to be over 50 years old. I have some ideas of what I am going to do with it. Can't wait to see what it looks like under all the dirt.

Isn't this wreath Beautiful!

I feel so blessed that my business is doing so well.

I have got to meet some wonderful people.

I hope Barn Creations keeps growing and growing.

I mention in an earlier post about my aunt doing needlepoint for me when I was younger. This is one that she did for me when I was very young. I know this piece
is over 20 years old. Doesn't it still look Great! Very talented lady!
I forgot to mention that I bet my aunt never thought I would keep all her work. I am proud to get to decorate our walls with her work. It means alot!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
May your life bring you love and happiness!

Love for Old Doors

I posted a while back pictures of a couple old doors that I found in our barn. I love old doors. I think its because I know all of them has a story. No telling how many people have walked through the doors.

The one I have been working on we have come to the conclusion that it was a closet door. Years ago it hung in an old farm house that was located on our farm. Its not very tall is the reason why. My oldest son would have to bend down to fit through it.

This is what the door looked like before I did anything to it. I thought it was in really good shape. I know this door is over 50 years old.

I could not wait to get my hands on it. To start sanding and painting. Then more sanding.

This is what it looks like after looks of paint and sanding. I scruffed up the edges to bring the old look back to it.

It looks totally different now.

I love it in our house. It turned out wonderful. I added a wreath to it to give it some color.

I am not sure if I am finished with it or not. I may add some writing to it.

I hope your Wednesday is filled with love and happiness!

Pretty in Red

I had a order recently for a red wreath. I have made red wreaths in the past. I have to admit I was never satified with the red color. So after lots of trial and bunches of errors I found the right color red I was looking for.

Look at this Beautiful wreath I made my friend.

This is my Pretty in Red. The red is so bright and showy. It would be an eye catcher anywhere you would want to put it.

She requested a black bow. So I thought the black with small polk-a -dots went well with the red wreath.

I sprayed it with glitter. Also, sprayed it with my magic smell good stuff.
It smells WONDERFUL!

SO SO Beautiful!!

Wreaths come in lots of different colors.

They cost $25.00

I will be posting my Easter wreaths soon. These will look so good on your door for the up coming holiday.

If you want to place a order you can leave me a comment. I am now on Facebook. Send me a e-mail. I would love to hear from you.

Many Happy Thoughts from Barn Creations!!

Surrounded by Green

This past week I have been surrounded by Green. I have had some customers wanting green wreaths. I have been making lots of green wreaths. Maybe it has something to do with the up coming holiday.

This is one of the wreaths I made for a friends aunt.

She lives in a area that is very wooded. She was wanting a wreath to go with the forest area to hang on her door.

I love this brown material that I put for the bow. I think I may do some other things with this material.

I made the wreath a more of a darker green than I usually work with. I think it looks so fluffy. Beautiful, Beautiful!

I think the wreath turned out wonderful.

I know that it looks lovely on her door.

Wreaths cost $25.00

They come in lots of different colors.
