I Love Fridays!!!

On Fridays I post random pictures that I have taken. I get to talk about several subjects and don't have to stick to one subject.





















This is where the name Barn Creations came from. This is the farm on our farm. All our wood for our signs come from inside this barn. I have found lots of treasures in the loft of this barn. This barn has been standing for at least 100 years.






















I mentioned this little puppy last week. She was needing a home. She found one. A beautiful young lady took her. My niece was so pleased that she will have a good home.


























Isn't this wreath Beautiful!! I have been busy this week making wreaths. I feel so blessed that my business is doing so well. I hope I continue to succeed in making my crafts. I love making them and hearing from my customers.




























This is a old door that I found in the loft of the barn. I have not had time to do anything to it yet. I have had many ideas about it. I can't wait to see what it will become.

High School Friend Wifes Wreath

One of my friends that I went to high school with recently saw my wreaths that I have been making. I have known him for a long time. We had classes together all our years in high school. There was one thing I didn't know about him that I found out not long ago. He can SING!!! I mean really SING!!

Well anyway back to the wreath.


He ordered one for his wife.

How sweet is this!

He didn't give me much detail on what he wanted. He just said" blue wreath with white ribbon"

So this is what I came up with.



















Isn't it beautiful!!































I sprayed glitter on it to make it sparkle.


























Its so fluffy and it smells really good.
























He said a white ribbon. I just kinda put the ribbon that I thought would look good on it. The ribbon does have white on it.




























I love the zebra print with the blue.




























I think it turned out Beautiful!!

Horseshoe shelf

On the farm we have several horses. They all have to have horse shoes. They are just like us they have to wear shoes. Sometimes theirs fall off and they go bare hoofed. Then we find out that they have lost a shoe so we call the farrier to put more on.





Well we have lots of horse shoes that we have found over the years. We find them in the pasture, in the barn, almost anywhere else that the horses have been. You never know where they may turn up.

So I decide to do something when them.

















This is what I come up with. A shelf for my son to hang his hats and coats on.


























I just took a piece of old barn wood and just stained and sanded it. I didn't sand it a whole lot because I wanted it to look just as it was.


I turned the horse shoes up so the hats or coats can hang on them.


























This shows how it looks with his things hanging on it. It turned out wonderful. Just what I was wanting for his room.






















I wonder what else I can do with more of the horse shoes. Any ides?

Pretty Beautiful Wreath

I have been busy filling orders and making deliveries the last few days.

I wanted to show you this wreath that I made for a young lady.
























She gave me some ideas on her colors in her kitchen. Thats where she wanted to hang the wreath. This is what I came up with.





















I love how fluffy these wreaths turn out. Beautiful, Beautiful!!




























If you look closely it sparkles. The light shines on it and its looks wonderful.
They smell wonderful too.


























She wanted a black bow. So I found this material at Hobby Lobby. It has small polk a dots in it.




























It turned out wonderful. The white looks so clean and fresh.

Every one of these wreaths I make I fall in love with them more and more. They are just Beautiful.



The wreaths sell for $25.00.
They come in numerous colors.

Old Doors

Over the weekend I found some treasures in my parents barn. Well some people would probably think they were trash but not me.




Look what I found!!





















I found some old doors. I do mean they are old. This one needs lots of work. As you can tell I have not done anything to it yet. I can already see what this door will become.




























When it is cleaned up, painted, and sanded its going to look beatiful.
























This door is not in as bad as shape as the other one. I have big plans for this little door. The door knob on both sides is still in tac.


























Both these doors are probably at least 50 years old. They both came out of and old farm house that was on my parents property a long time ago. I love to find treasures like these. I can't wait to get started working on them.

Americana Wreath

I have been busy working on orders this weekend. I have been having so much fun! Most people would call it work but I am having the best time.




My friend(Erin) that works in the dentist office where my husband goes. You do not want me to tell you about my husbands trips to the dentist. Lets just say his nickname there is BIG BABY and leave it at that.

Lets get back to Erin's wreath. She said her living room is Americana and wanted a wreath to go in there.

This is what I came up with.




















I love making these wreaths. Everyone of these wreaths that I make is just BEAUTIFUL.






















Look how beautiful!






















I spray glitter on all them. When the light catches them they sparkle. They are so soft and fluffy. ALSO, I forgot to mention they smell wonderful.

























I added blue material with tan stars on it to the wreath. I tied a bow with the same material. This adds a special touch to the wreath.




























I think this wreath turned out wonderful.
