Old quilts

I recently told you that I love old quilts. I wanted to show you some that I have laying around our house.




I like to fold them and put them on top of our cabintets. These are a few that my mom and my granny gave me.
















The green and white quilt was my bedspread when I was growing up.


























This one we had at home and I would cover up in it every night watching T.V.
















All the quilts have so many good memories. What gets me most is how they have held up over the years. I know a few of them have got to be over 40 years old.

    NIce quilts. My Grandmother made quilts. I have some of them. They are really special because some of the clothes my Mom made me are pieces of the quilts. It is neat how you put them on the tops of the cupboards. Great idea!!!
